I am Farzana Afrin.
I completed several short courses from 2009 to 2012 to enhance my knowledge in the baking sector. In 2013, I did a 4-month pastry and bakery course in tourism. I did an internship at Hotel Radisson. Due to that, I worked at Hotel Radisson for 1 year to make myself more skilled.
In addition, I have worked in other five-star chains such as Hotel Le Meridien and Hotel Sonargaon. I always felt that there was no end to learning, so in 2020, I did a diploma in bakery and pastry from APCA Malaysia to perfect myself further.
In addition, I have done numerous online courses on baking and advanced flour from Vietnam, London, Korea, America and I still try to do it whenever I get the opportunity. I have learned from many teachers outside the country, among them are Queena Niu Niu (China), Baylor Flower (China), Anand Kumar(India). I took classes in advanced flour making from them.
I wanted to spread what I had learned among everyone. For that purpose, Afrin’s Kitchen started its journey in 2016. Where offline and online courses are conducted on baking, sweets, advanced baking, advanced flower making and other royal cooking.
Alhamdulillah, I have trained thousands of people online and offline across the country on baking. Due to high demand and requests from well-wishers, the journey of the cake and sweets shop Sweet Story by Afrin’s started in 2024.
I began Afrin’s Kitchen in 2016, and in 2024, by the grace of Allah and the love from my students and followers, Sweet Story by Afrin’s was born as a cake and dessert shop crafted with heart and expertise.
